FAIR WEEK FAQ

PRE-FAIR WEEK FAIR OFFICE HOURS

July 14 - 18 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

July 19 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

July 20 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Open Class DEADLINE)

July 21 - 27 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Fair Office will be CLOSED on Monday, August 4, 2025.  We will re-open Tuesday, August 5 at regular business hours (9a.m. - 4 p.m.)

GATE ADMISSION PRICES

$8.00 - General Admission (6 years and up)​

FREE - Age 5 and under

​

SEASON TICKET - 7 admissions for $42 ($14 savings) on sale through Monday, July 28, 2025 at 9 p.m. (these will no longer be available after Monday of fair).

​

MEMBERSHIP TICKET - 7 admissions for $42 ($14 savings) on sale through Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 4p.m. (you must be at least 18 years old and a Medina County resident to purchase this ticket as it gives rights to vote for Directors)

​

MINI TICKET - 2 admissions for $16 on sale through Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 4p.m. (this ticket is strictly for those who are entering into Open Class)

JR. FAIR WEEK PASS PICK UP

Saturday, July 26 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Sunday, July 27 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Bldg. 14. 

If you cannot pick up your pass during this time, they will go to the Main Fair Office during fair week.

​

30 MINUTE PASSES are available from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Gates #2, #4, #10 - $8 for the ticket, must return back to the gate you purchases the pass from within the 30 minutes of purchasing it to receive your $8 back.  This is CASH ONLY.

​

PIT PASSES - these will allow you to go into the infield for certain grandstand events - $25 per person no matter the age of the person.  This is your admission into the pits and fair (the cross over gate to go into the fair is T-7 by the Beer Garden)

​

PIT PASSES AT ON GROUNDS FAIR OFFICE

(BLDG. 14) from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. $17 per person no matter the age of the person. (Enter at gate T-7 at the North end of the Beer Garden)

​

You can only get pit pass wristbands at Gate #1 Pit Pass gate and Bldg. 14, no other locations!

*The Medina County Agricultural Society (MCAS) accepts cash, check, Visa, Master Card, and Discover as forms of payment.  Concessions and Rides will have posted what forms of payment they accept.

​

*All purchases made from the MCAS with a credit card will have a 3% processing credit card fee added on.

​

Monday, July 28 - Veterans Day (Veterans FREE with proper ID)

Tuesday, July 29 - Senior Citizen Day (Seniors 65 and older FREE)

Wednesday, July 30 - Youth Day (Kids 11 and under are FREE until 5 p.m.)

Friday, August 1 - Sensory Fun Day (The lights and loud music will be turned off from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. for our friends with disabilities)

Sunday, August 3 - First Responders Day (Medina County First Responders FREE with proper ID) (The lights and loud music will be turned off from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. for our friends with disabilities)

4-H/FFA/FCCLA/FSC/MCCC GRADE MONEY

Grade money for 4-H projects, FFA, FCCLA, MCCC projects. You MUST be present with your credential card to receive your money, this includes if you come after fair week.

​

GRADE MONEY PICK UP TIMES

Friday, August 1 from 12 p.m.- 6 p.m.

Saturday, August 2 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Sunday, August 3 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

 

Friday, August 8, 2025 is the LAST DAY to pick up your money.  If it is not picked up it will be forfeited back to the MCAS. 
 
If there are issues with the amount of prize money written down by your name, you MUST go to the

4-H on grounds office or speak with your school advisor.

OPEN CLASS PREMIUM PICK UP

Open class premium money will be available for pick up from Bldg. 14 (On Grounds Fair Office) Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.  If you are unable to pick up your money then, it will be available at the Fair Office until Friday, August 29, 2025 by 4 p.m. other wise it will be forfeited back to the MCAS.

BATES BROS. AMUSEMENT RIDE PRICES & HOURS

*Ride wristbands/tickets can be purchased at the little ticket booths all around by the rides.

$25 for Unlimited ride wristband

$20 for Youth Day unlimited ride wristband (11 & under)

Monday 1 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Tuesday 12 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Wednesday 11 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Youth Day)

Thursday 12 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Friday 12 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Saturday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Sunday 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.

 

All Gates to enter the Medina County Fair require an admission ticket.

GATE BREAKDOWN FOR TIMES AND PASSES

Gate #1 (road gate) must have ticket to enter. 24 hour gate.

 

GATE #1 (Pit Pass) this is for entering the pit area for a grandstand event, you can pre-purchase your ticket for here online or purchase in person. Open during event times.

​

GATE #2 (Smith Road gate) can purchase a ticket here or have a pre-purchased ticket.

8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

​

GATE #3 (Concession/Exhibitor Lot-A) must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter/parking pass.

7 a.m. - 11 p.m.

​

GATE #4 (Fair Road gate) can purchase a ticket here or have a pre-purchased ticket.

8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

​

GATE #6 (Campgrounds gate) must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter. 24 hour gate.

​

GATE #9 (Community Center building) can purchase a ticket here or have a pre-purchased ticket. 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

​

GATE #10 (Lafayette Road gate) can purchase a ticket here or have a pre-purchased ticket.

7 a.m. - 11 p.m.

​

GATE #H-3 (Horse gate) must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter.

​

FEED PASSES

Feed Passes are only accepted at Gates 1 & 6​

Non- Dairy Cattle passes 11 p.m. - 9 a.m.

Dairy Cattle passes 11 p.m. - 11 a.m.

*One person will be allowed in with the vehicle without a ticket, but must leave with the vehicle.  Any other persons in the vehicle will need to provide an admission ticket to enter.

SCOOTERS FOR RENTAL

We will have a scooter, wheelchair, stroller, and 2-seater wagons with canopies available for rent located in the parking lot by Gate #10 and the Community Center Bldg. (off Lafayette Road).​

  • $10 per hour on scooters/double seat canopy wagons (minimum 3 hr. rental)

  • $5 per hour on wheelchairs/solo strollers (minimum 4 hr. rental)

ANNUAL ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

​Voting will take place on Friday, August 2, 2025 from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. in Bldg. 21 (Antique/Flower Bldg.), you must hold a valid 2025 Membership Ticket to vote for Directors.  Please be sure to bring your Membership card and valid ID with you at the time of voting.

​​​​

​REFUNDS

There are No Refunds/No Exchanges for items purchases from the MCAS, all sales are final.  If you request for a refund, the request must be made in writing and can be submitted to mcfrefunds@gmail.com or you may fill out a paper form at the Main Fair Office.  All refund requests will be submitted to the Board of Directors to review and approve or deny.

THERE IS NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON THE MEDINA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.

​

ALL FORMS OF MARIJUANA USE ARE PROHIBITED ON THE MEDINA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.
